As a Summer trainee - Project Assistant, you will

• Support in the delivery organization in plant and equipment projects​
• Organizing travel bookings, hotel reservations, accommodation, and ground transportation for project personnel ​and customers
• Preparing visa invitation letters ​for customers and suppliers, handling visa processes for project personnel to different countries
• Organizing meetings both in-house and at various locations outside the office​
• Ordering personal protective equipment (PPE), business gifts, business cards, etc.
• Handling travel-related invoices and upkeeping traveler profiles​
• Communicating directly with travel agency personnel
• Handling of confidential and personal information​ in a secure manner

 
Who you are

• Prior experience working in an assistant role or in fast-paced projects
• Systematic and diligent, paying attention to details
• Ability to prioritize​, work under pressure, and adjust to rapid changes
• Ability to work independently and as part of the team​ in an international business context​
• Good skills in the MS Office environment, preferably some experience in invoice and travel expense handling
• Effective communication skills (both verbal and written) in Finnish and English​; other languages are considered a major advantage
• Understanding of visa application processes in different countries​ is seen as an advantage

Our small but efficient project assistant team is devoted to help project team members with travel arrangements and various support requests. Many of our summer trainees continue their employment with us part-time, full-time, or with their thesis after the summer.

The expected monthly salary for our full-time trainee roles is between 2130-2970 euros per month. The exact monthly salary for each role is based on the candidate's number of completed academic credits and job location.

Our Summer Trainee positions are primarily targeted at students currently studying at, or recently graduated from, an educational institution in Finland, as well as Finnish students pursuing their studies abroad. Please note that we are unable to provide work permits or relocation services for these positions.
