As Summer Trainee in our Power BI Analytics Team, based in Espoo, you will:
- Support the design, development, and deployment of Business Analytics Dashboards using Microsoft BI technologies, including SQL, server, and Power BI.
- Understand business requirements in the BI context and design data models to convert raw data into meaningful insights.
- Manage BI solutions.
- Provide reports, processes, and Excel VBA applications through the application life cycle.
- Collaborate with business users.
Who you are
- Motivated, open and eager to learn new things
- Willingness to work collaboratively with team members and other departments to achieve common goals
- Have a analytical mindset with a organized way of working
- Basic knowledge in SQL server, Power BI/MSBI and SAP is seen as an advantage
- Proficiency in MS Office tools, especially in Excel / Office 365
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with full working proficiency in English.

An exciting position in our Aftermarket Smelting Business Development team in Espoo, where we are passionate about PBI development and analytics, striving to provide timely support to key users in analytics and business support. You will have excellent opportunities to develop your expertise by working closely with professionals and collaborating with internal and external stakeholders, such as MO Customer Logistics, Metals Supply, Metals Business Lines, Customer Purchasing, and Regional Hubs. Your responsibilities will include supporting logistics specialists in their day-to-day activities, playing a crucial role in achieving the KPIs for PBI maintenance, development, and analytics. In this position, you will report to the Head of Aftermarket Smelting Business Development. Many of our summer trainees continue their employment with us part-time, full-time, or with their thesis after the summer.

The expected monthly salary for our full-time trainee roles is between 2065-2875 euros per month. The exact monthly salary for each role is based on the candidate's number of completed academic credits and job location.
Our Summer Trainee positions are primarily targeted at students currently studying at, or recently graduated from, an educational institution in Finland, as well as Finnish students pursuing their studies abroad. Please note that we are unable to provide work permits or relocation services for these positions.
