As a Summer Trainee – Data & AI you will:

• See and work with a continuously developing unit targeting on applying the latest technologies to drive internal and customer benefits including operational efficiency and a greener world. We do it by implementing Generative AI as part of Knowledge Management practices, by gathering equipment data and running predictive algorithms on top of it to predict wear and failures as well as by making our sales, supply chain and service operations data available to create understanding what drives business. 
• Depending on your experience, you shall daily work with modern cloud databases and their workflow management (Snowflake & dbt), Analytics & AI (Python, OpenAI, VectorDBs), source systems (Azure IoT, SAP, Salesforce, MS Dynamics) to make sure everything is up and running and as good as possible. 
• You shall start off by working and learning as a part of the team, but during the summer you’ll get the opportunity to individually execute and try out things as well.

Who you are

• Studying either knowledge management, mechanical engineering, software engineering, process technology or similar and have and interest in further understanding the other parts depending on the role we hire you for.
• You are proud of your work and want to ensure that what you do you achieve with high standards of quality.
• Can-do attitude and want to see the opportunities in Data & AI for industrial players.
• You are fluent in English. Other languages such as, Finnish, Spanish, French and others are an asset.
• You are capable of working with a data & ai technology stack and learning the ins and outs. Basic level SQL combined with Python acts as a good starting point.

You will get a chance to work with professionals of product development, sales & delivery, infrastructure operations and product management, where your team will support your growth. You will have great opportunities to develop your expertise by learning how to run an end-to-end product creation cycle related to data & ai technology. Many of our summer trainees continue their employment with us part-time, full-time, or with their thesis after the summer.

The expected monthly salary for our full-time trainee roles is between 2065-2875 euros per month. The exact monthly salary for each role is based on the candidate's number of completed academic credits and job location.

Our Summer Trainee positions are primarily targeted at students currently studying at, or recently graduated from, an educational institution in Finland, as well as Finnish students pursuing their studies abroad. Please note that we are unable to provide work permits or relocation services for these positions.
