Corporate Procurement team is globally responsible for Procurement Excellence of entire external spending as well as Indirect sourcing globally. Most of us are located at the global headquarters in Espoo, Finland. We are primarily looking for a summer trainee who is ready and willing to continue with us as a thesis worker after the summer. Theme will most probably be related to procurement process digitization, but we are open to fine tune according to your interests.
As a Summer Trainee – Corporate Procurement, you will:
- Have an opportunity to learn how a global engineering company manages procurement activities
- Have an opportunity to work most probably with one/some of the global Category manager/s supporting them in their sourcing projects: collect baseline data from business, evaluate & prepare tendering strategies, run the tenders and negotiate and finally implement the new contacts
- You may also be involved in some of the global Procurement Excellence projects
Who you are
- A Master's degree student in for example industrial engineering, supply chain management/procurement, international business, or finance/economics
- A positive and spontaneous can-do mindset and a proactive approach to work
- Eagerness to learn more, develop, and succeed in the role.
- A customer-focused and innovative mindset, and problem-solving skills
- An ability to work as part of a team, while also working independently on certain tasks.
- Ability to take ownership of the assigned tasks and projects and drive them proactively
- Full working proficiency in English

The expected monthly salary for our full-time trainee roles is between 2065-2875 euros per month. The exact monthly salary for each role is based on the candidate's number of completed academic credits and job location.
Our Summer Trainee positions are primarily targeted at students currently studying at, or recently graduated from, an educational institution in Finland, as well as Finnish students pursuing their studies abroad. Please note that we are unable to provide work permits or relocation services for these positions.
