Introduction
We are seeking an IT Change Management and Communications Specialist to drive IT communication to the next level. You will be responsible for coordinating communication activities within the IT function and projects, as well as supporting organizational change management activities. Your role plays a crucial part in ensuring IT stakeholders are aware, informed, and fully capable of utilizing the services IT provides, which in the end will contribute to customer success. In this position, you will report to Manager, IT Operational Excellence & Communications.
This position is mainly located in Espoo or Tampere, but we are happy to offer flexible working arrangements, including hybrid options.
What you’ll do
- Provide essential information about the Metso IT function for all relevant stakeholder groups.
- Provide efficient communications within the IT function, by means of e.g., info calls, meetings, intranet, and training.
- Ensure that projects and operational changes are properly communicated to relevant stakeholder groups at the correct time.
- Maintain and develop channels and methods for ensuring successful IT change management and communication.
- Drive organizational change management competence development, ensuring IT teams can succeed in projects. Share best practices and coach teams.
Who you are
- Degree in Communications or applicable field.
- Team player with excellent collaboration & communication (written & verbal) skills.
- Experience working in a global company setup to drive impactful communications.
- Good understanding of Microsoft tools and their relevance for company communication.
- Good understanding of modern and digital business communications channels and channel management.
- Ability to manage relationships with various stakeholders, including employees, managers, and external partners.
- Ability to document instructions and share information relevant to the audience.
- Excellent written and spoken English skills, command of other languages is an advantage.
- Experience and certification in Organizational Change Management is an advantage.
