Introduction

 

We are seeking a Service Manager, Reporting & Analytics to join our Metso IT Reporting & Analytics applications team. You will be responsible for managing IT service providers and their delivery and establishing and maintaining strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, which involves insuring quality of services and continuous improvement of it. Your role plays a crucial part in reporting & analytics applications area, which will contribute to Metso’s reporting, analytics and data warehousing capabilities. In this position, you will report to Director, Corporate Functions Applications, located in Finland. 

 

This position is mainly located in Espoo or Tampere, but we are happy to offer flexible working arrangements, including hybrid options. Role might involve up to 10-15% of travel both in Finland and abroad.

You will join a team of IT Reporting & Analytics professionals who are passionate about enabling customer success. We are currently working on numerous projects, programs and advanced support services. We work closely with internal and external stakeholders across Metso’s businesses, functions and IT teams, IT service partners and IT vendors. Our team culture is all about Getting it done – together. The members in our team are based in Espoo and Tampere, Finland.

 

What you’ll do

 

  • Manage IT service providers and ensure quality service delivery to stakeholders.
  • Perform vendor, IT contract, and license management activities to optimize services.
  • Monitor IT service costs and influence license optimization decisions to optimize costs.
  • Drive continual improvement of IT services together with service providers and stakeholders.
  • Stay updated on service development and technology trends and contribute to experimentations.
  • Ensure smooth handover of application developments to support teams.
  • Report IT progress and coordinate, approve, and report service providers’ work.

 

Who you are

 

  • IT Service Management (ITSM) Knowledge: Proficient in ITIL managing IT services effectively.
  • Experienced in reporting, analytics and data warehouse solutions and related IT services.
  • Vendor and IT Contract Management: Skilled in negotiating, managing, and optimizing vendor contracts and licenses with relevant IT sourcing contribution experience.
  • Experience in monitoring and optimizing IT service costs, including license optimization.
  • Experience in developing and implementing IT tools and processes, including DevOps, ITIL, and Agile methodologies.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with stakeholders and service providers.
  • Ability to establish and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Proactive in identifying and resolving issues, with the ability to adapt to changing technologies and business requirements to ensure smooth service delivery.
  • Focused on delivering high-quality service and achieving customer satisfaction.
  • Ability to analyze data and trends to make informed decisions and optimize services.
