We are seeking a Service Management Tool Architect to join the Metso IT Service Integration and Management office. You will be responsible for leading the design, integration, and lifecycle of Service Management tool solutions, ensuring they are robust, scalable, and aligned with Metso’s enterprise architecture. Your role plays a crucial part in enabling efficient IT service delivery and digital transformation across the organization. In this position, you will report to the Director of Service Integration and Automation Management Office.

 

This position is mainly located in Espoo or Tampere, Finland, but we are happy to offer flexible working arrangements, including hybrid options.

The Metso IT Service Integration and Management office (SIAM) is a center of excellence that aims to enhance the experience, quality, and efficiency of Metso IT operational services for our users, business functions, partners, and customers.

 

SIAM achieves this by using industry standards, automation tools, and best practices in IT Service Management and Delivery within the Metso IT environment.

 

 

What you’ll do

 

  • Lead the architecture and lifecycle of Metso’s Service Management tools, with a focus on ServiceNow.
  • Ensure technical integrity and alignment with enterprise architecture and security standards.
  • Plan, design, and execute tool upgrades and release plans.
  • Establish and maintain architecture standards and governance for service management tools.
  • Drive cost transparency and value tracking in tool development and maintenance.
  • Define and develop short- and mid-term roadmaps for IT service delivery tools and AI integration.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders across IT and business to ensure tool alignment with strategic goals.
  • Monitor and optimize tool performance, ensuring alignment with SIAM and service delivery best practices.

 

 

Who you are

 

  • Proven experience in ServiceNow architecture and enterprise service management tools.
  • Strong understanding of IT service delivery, digitalization, and SIAM principles.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
  • Ability to lead cross-functional initiatives and drive architectural governance.
  • Experience in defining roadmaps and managing tool lifecycle.
  • Familiarity with security by design and enterprise architecture frameworks.
  • Analytical mindset with a focus on continuous improvement.
  • Experience with AI integration in IT service management is seen as an advantage.
