This role provides end to end Service Management of Metso’s Network SASE services globally.
As a Service Delivery and Development Manager, you will ensure the success of all related operational services while working on development and continuous improvement using Agile working methodologies. You will also work closely with Metso's internal and external stakeholders.
As security is at the core of this role, this position will take ownership of security best practices and keeping Metso's network secured. You may have hands-on experience as you will lead the design, architecture, and service management with our teams of engineers and partners.
This position reports to the Head of Infrastructure Network Services, and the position will be in Espoo or Tampere, but we are happy to offer flexible working arrangements, including hybrid options.
What you’ll do
In this role, you will lead Service Delivery, Development, and Management for Networking Security Services and ensure Vendor, Partner, and internal Stakeholder Management throughout the service lifecycle. You are responsible primarily for overall Network Security activities.
The responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Service & Technology Strategy
- The Network Security Services Portfolio management, including the pipeline, operational Service Catalog, and service and technology retirement activities.
- Network Security Services Demand, Capacity, and Availability management.
- Service & Technology Design
- Ensuring Network Security Services architecture and technologies are fit for purpose, optimally designed, developed, and improved while aligning with Metso’s goals and industry best practices.
- Service & Technology Transition
- Ensuring new Network Security Services technologies and services, as well as changes to existing services, are transitioned into production in a controlled manner, following Metso project management methodologies and minimizing risk to the business and its operations.
- Ensuring that Network Services assets and configurations are properly managed (Service Asset and Configuration Management) and documented.
- Service Operations
- Ensuring the success of Network Security Services: Incident, Event, Problem, Change, Knowledge Management and Request Fulfillment activities.
- Ensuring agreed service levels and quality for all Network Services are maintained.
- Ensuring the end-to-end security of Network Security Services configurations and environments.
- Continuous Service Improvement
- Ensuring all Network Security Services are fit for purpose and running optimally
- Ensuring all Network Security Services meet the agreed security policies and practices
Who you are
- A broad understanding of Network services – such as SDWAN, SSE/SASE, and Firewalls.
- Strong understanding of practical security measures and IT Security principles, particularly in the network domain.
- At least 5-8 years experience in various IT infrastructure network or security roles.
- You will need to demonstrate a good understanding of network security risks and the management of those risks.
- Experience with IT Service Delivery Management methodologies.
- Good understanding of ITIL and other infrastructure-related frameworks and best practices.
- Experience with Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban) is seen as an advantage.
- Knowledge and experience with various other IT technologies are welcome.
- Architectural visualization skills (Visio, Draw-IO, etc.) are seen as an advantage.
