Introduction
We are looking for a Senior Project Manager, Manufacturing, to join our Manufacturing team in the Services BA. Manufacturing team executes, develops, maintains and manages selected products and materials sustainable manufacturing, development and supply planning operations. The main purpose of the role is to manage efficiently variable manufacturing related projects, together with global and local teams. The position reports to Head of Manufacturing.
This position is primarily located in Espoo or Tampere, Finland, but we are happy to order flexible working arrangements, including hybrid options. This position requires variable global travel and presence at our manufacturing units, between 15-40% of the time.
What you do
- Establish, lead and manage defined manufacturing related projects like Safety, Lean, NetZero and technology related transformation projects or local modifications, expansions, improvements and ramp up related projects
- Execute project management, project documentation and project communication
- Support and implement continuous improvement in manufacturing topics and units
- Actively seek relevant manufacturing improvements aiming at manufacturing safety and efficiency together with manufacturing units’ personnel
- Ensure, create and manage solid documentation in your own responsibility area
- Collaborate and cooperate with other stakeholders to gain the best possible solutions in scope, budget and time wise
Who you are
- Degree in a relevant engineering field, ideally at Master’s level (e.g. Manufacturing, Industrial Engineering, Materials, Mechanical Engineering)
- Min 7-10 years of project management experience in manufacturing and production related projects
- Manufacturing experience and knowledge in process and assembly type of manufacturing
- People leading skills and experience in multinational environment
- Experience in engineering and design practices of production units and manufacturing equipment
- Understanding of lean principles and industrial processes, including manufacturing environments, energy sources, and sustainable production concepts
- Experience with tools and technologies, such as project management tools, automation, robotics, and AI in manufacturing
- Knowledge of materials processing, including polymers, ceramics, and metals, is considered an advantage
- Proactive, innovative mindset and hands-on approach to manufacturing, technology, engineering and project management
- Excellent communications skills, ability to communicate and visualize complexity in understandable way in different language regions
- Fluent spoken and written communication skills in English. Finnish, Spanish and other language skills are seen as an asset.
