We are seeking a Senior Manager, Solutions Sales to join our Plant and Solutions Sales team in the Minerals Business Area. We offer solutions from test work and techno-economic studies to complete minerals processing plants and life-cycle services. You will be responsible to promote and drive sales of Metso’s processing solutions globally together with market area sales representatives. In this position, you will report to VP, Global Solutions Sales.
 
This position is mainly located in Espoo, but we are happy to offer flexible working arrangements, including hybrid options.
 
 
Team you belong to
 
You will join a team of Plant and Solutions Sales belonging to the Performance Solutions Function, dedicated to supporting the sales of the Minerals Business Area. The Plant and Solutions Sales team is acting as an integrator within Metso by promoting and driving the sales of complete minerals processing plants, together with more complex plant units in grinding, flotation, thickening, and filtration to customers. 

We work closely with several internal stakeholders, such as front-end sales, proposal and product management, engineering, and delivery teams in an international setup, solving our customers’ problems with world-class solutions. Our team culture is all about getting it done together, in close collaboration with all relevant stakeholders.  The members of our team are located in various locations.
 
 
What you’ll do

•    Promote and drive sales of Metso’s minerals processing solutions globally, together with market area sales representatives
•    Define the sales strategy, scope, and price of solutions, and lead the sales team to meet the requirements of proposals
•    Oversee accurate and timely proposal submittals in a manner that provides the best opportunity for executing the sale
•    Contribute to business development, market intelligence, and assist promotion of Metso’s offerings in the market
•    Contribute to the success of the organization by aligning and engaging with several other functions and stakeholders.
•    Be part of an experienced, dynamic, and global team driven to achieving Metso’s mission of enabling sustainable modern life.
 
Who you are
 
•    Academic degree in minerals processing or a similar technical discipline
•    Strong experience in minerals processing applications
•    Proven track record of successful sales
•    Experience in international projects, preferably within a multinational organization
•    Experience and ability to collaborate and influence in a cross-cultural matrix organization
•    Creative problem identification, conceptualization, and analytical thinking skills
•    Positive, energetic, and can-do attitude
•    A customer-oriented mindset with excellent communication skills, both verbal and written English, and others see it as a benefit
