We are seeking an enthusiastic Project Engineer, Minerals Grinding, to work within our European Grinding team in the Minerals Business Area.
This is an exciting opportunity for a project engineer with a passion for the pace of a project environment.
Possible locations for this role are Espoo, Finland, or Baden, Germany.
What you’ll do
- Assist Project Managers with various tasks to fulfill project requirements.
- Effective management of portions of our client contract, with a focus on customer centricity within the scope of the contract. This involves aligning Metso Outotec project supply with the client's scope and specifications.
- Maintaining and building strong client relationships throughout the project and post completion.
- HSE management
- Assist in the engineering, procurement, and fabrication activities to meet the project schedule.
- Preparation and issue of project technical and commercial documents.
- Coordination of supplier inspections and/or expediting activities
- Document control activities
- Involvement in logistics activities.
- Cost control – review costs against budget.
- Reporting progress in an accurate and timely manner.
- Performs other tasks as delegated by the line manager
Who you are
To perform and succeed in this role, you will need to have an engineering degree or several years of working experience in project roles with an engineering or technical background. Your demonstrated ability to work across diverse groups within a multinational organisation is essential. You will also have a strong work ethic and excellent verbal and communication skills, combined with excellent planning and organizing capability, with the ability to work unsupervised or within a team. Your skills across the MS Office suite of applications and databases, such as EDM, SAP, or similar, along with AutoCAD skills (ability to read drawings), will ensure your success in this role.
