Introduction

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Performance Guarantee Manager to join our team in Espoo! The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, executing, and reporting on various metallurgical assessments and test work to support sales cases and performance guarantees. This role requires strong mineral processing technical, statistical and administrative expertise, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders. In this position, you will report to Senior Manager, Process Performance.

The preferred location for this position is Espoo, Finland, and we are happy to offer flexible working arrangements, including hybrid options.

What you do

• Support the development of performance guarantees for all Beneficiation, Dewatering and Hydrometallurgy (BDH) product offerings
• Coordinate, execute and report on process assessments and plant surveys to define sales cases for BDH product offerings
• Execute or delegate plant assessments and walk-throughs to confirm plant conditions.
• Provide metallurgical support during sales meetings, including offering performance guarantees.
• Create test plans for various stakeholders
• Draft the Process Guarantee Annex for proposals, and develop, standardize and own Process Guarantees templates in collaboration with Product Groups
• Create and support the generation of Metso customer success stories.
• Follow up on project execution, coordinate optimization work, and gather information for performance guarantee evaluation
• Create services workbooks for testing, assessments, and optimization work.
• Draft and confirm Testing Protocols upon purchase order receipt
• Maintain communication with customers and internal stakeholders during Performance Guarantee periods
• Write and present technical papers

Who you are

• Bachelor’s or higher degree in Metallurgical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a related field
• 5+ years of proven experience in metallurgical accounting, process assessments and test work for flotation, dewatering and/or hydrometallurgy
• HSC Chemistry Expert level usage
• Lean Sigma Six Green Belt (or higher) or equivalent
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, as well as proven mentoring abilities
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in other relevant metallurgical and statistical software and tools (e.g.: Minitab)
• Experience with performance guarantees
• Familiarity with Metso products and technologies
