Introduction
We are seeking a Manager, Gearboxes and Drivetrain Product Sales Support to join the Grinding, Bulk, Pyro (GBP) Business Line in our Services Business Area! In this position, you will be responsible for bridging the gap between technical expertise and the sales success of gearboxes. By acting as a liaison between customers, sales, and the global engineering team, you ensure that technical expertise is seamlessly integrated into the sales process, driving customer satisfaction and business success.
In this position, you will report to VP, Gearbox and Drivetrain Technology, located in Finland.
This position can be located in Finland, the United States or Canada. Please note that domestic and international travel to customer visits, training, and industry events is a part of this position.

What you’ll do
- Provide technical guidance to the sales team, ensuring accurate and effective customer proposals.
- Assist in the development of technical sales materials, including presentations and documentation.
- Support pre-sales and post-sales activities, ensuring customer requirements are met.
- Act as a technical point of contact for customers, addressing inquiries and providing tailored solutions.
- Conduct technical presentations, demonstrations, and training to support customer understanding.
- Collaborate with the global engineering team to develop customized solutions when required.
- Work closely with engineering, product management, and R&D teams to align solutions with business goals.
- Provide market feedback to help shape product development and innovation strategies.
- Assist in resolving technical challenges that arise during the sales and implementation process.
- Continuously enhance technical knowledge to provide customers with the latest and most effective solutions.
Who you are
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Technical, or a related field (Master’s degree is a plus).
- Minimum 5 years of experience in technical sales support, application engineering, or a similar customer-facing technical role.
- Background in industrial-scale gearboxes in Mining or similar industry.
- Strong technical expertise in planetary and helical gearboxes.
- Ability to analyze customer requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Experience with technical presentations, demos, and proposal development.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills to engage both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and a customer-focused mindset.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating with a global team.
- Fluency in English (additional languages are a plus).
