Are you prepared to lead impactful global incentive programs and influence the way we reward and motivate talent at Metso? We invite you to join us as the Head of Global Incentives, reporting to the Vice President of Rewarding and Global Mobility, and become an integral member of our Group HR team.
We are now establishing a Head of Global Incentives role to ensure that our global incentive programs continue to be designed for success. Our aim is to recognize and reward high performance, be fair and transparent across businesses, and align with Metso’s strategic objectives.
The location for this role is Espoo, Finland.

You will join a great team of experts who are passionate about compensation, benefits, and Global Mobility. We strive to ensure Metso’s global HR structures and processes around our responsibility areas bring value to business, ensure fairness and transparency and that employee performance is recognized and rewarded. Among others, our 2025 priorities include Pay Equity and Transparency topics and reviewing and further developing our Sales bonus concept. The members in our team are located in Espoo, Finland and Perth, Australia.
What you’ll do
- Manage and develop all Metso’s short-term incentive programs, including sales bonuses, accruals, budgeting, and local productivity plans.
- Participate in developing Metso’s performance management culture.
- Oversee and help develop Metso’s long-term incentive plans and vendor management.
- Provide support and guidance to Metso’s Global HR network.
- Provide dedicated support for our businesses and act as a partner for them.
- Collaborate with businesses, finance teams, and senior management to align incentives with business goals and strategy.
Who you are
- Enthusiastic about understanding business logic and driving value through incentives.
- Experienced in managing global incentive programs; a special advantage is expertise in sales incentives.
- Knowledgeable about external reward trends and global industry practices.
- Confident in engaging with businesses, finance teams, and senior leadership, with strong presentation skills for leadership teams.
- A proactive and collaborative professional with a keen eye for detail and analytics.
- You have genuine interest and drive to develop Metso’s Reward practices.
