Introduction

Everyday AI empowers people to reimagine how they work, creating more space to think, solve problems and turn ideas into value. As our Head of Everyday AI Adoption, you will enable Metsonites to explore these possibilities and build the confidence, skills and experience to understand and shape how AI is changing the nature of work.

Everyday AI, alongside our strategic AI initiatives called Big Rocks, is an essential part of Program Gold, Metso’s AI Transformation Program. As part of the AI Transformation Office within Business Growth, you will help turn this ambition into practical, lasting improvements aligned with business priorities.

As a visible advocate for Everyday AI, you will make its possibilities tangible and inspire Metsonites across the organization to be part of the journey. Your focus will be AI in everyday work: helping individuals use AI effectively while enabling teams to improve workflows and create solutions for their own needs.

You will bring a strategic, opportunity-led perspective to adoption, connecting technological possibilities with business priorities and how people learn and build new habits. As AI evolves, you will identify relevant advances, test new ways of working and help scale what works across Metso.

Team you will belong to

Reporting to the VP, AI Transformation, you will build and lead a team that combines regional adoption support with the development, curation and continuous improvement of reusable AI capabilities and resources. Within the AI Transformation Office, you will be part of a multidisciplinary organization covering AI adoption, engineering, platforms, governance, and portfolio management.

You will collaborate closely with Metsonites from business teams, AI Catalyst network, Data & Analytics, Metso Digital, IT, HR, and Learning & Development. Together, you will equip managers and local champions to help people put AI into practice and sustain useful ways of working.

What you’ll do

• Develop and continuously improve Metso’s approach to Everyday AI adoption, supporting Metso’s strategy by connecting business priorities and employee needs with practical opportunities.
• Build a role-based adoption roadmap with business leaders, HR and IT, focusing on better ways of working, not just new tools.
• Champion Everyday AI through demonstrations, hands-on experimentation and relevant examples that build confidence and useful habits.
• Bring relevant AI advances into Metso by assessing, testing and introducing new ways of working that add value.
• Build and lead a team that develops, curates and maintains reusable Everyday AI capabilities and resources.
• Enable citizen AI, helping teams build solutions responsibly within approved environments and guardrails.
• Partner with HR and Learning & Development and coordinate regional support, so managers and local champions can help teams sustain new ways of working.
• Measure meaningful adoption and outcomes, using feedback and evidence to remove barriers and scale what works.

What you’ll bring

• A strategic, opportunity-led mindset that connects AI capabilities, business priorities and employee needs.
• A confident, visible presence and the ability to communicate compellingly with diverse audiences.
• Experience leading adoption or business change that resulted in lasting new ways of working, not only launches or training.
• An understanding of how people learn and build new habits, and how to apply it in practice.
• Practical fluency in Everyday AI and AI powered citizen development, with sound judgment on responsible use.
• Experience developing, curating or scaling reusable enablement resources, with a focus on usability and quality.
• Strong team leadership and collaboration skills across business, IT, HR, Learning & Development and regional teams.
• A relevant degree or equivalent experience in business, technology, learning, organizational development or a related field. Experience in human-centered design or a global industrial environment is a plus.
