Introduction

 

As part of our future journey, we continue re-imagining how we identify, attract, and hire future Metsonites to ensure our business growth. We are now establishing a Global Talent Acquisition Manager role that drives recruitment strategy and development throughout our organization to foster a proactive, inclusive, and data-driven talent acquisition culture at Metso.

 

In this role, you will be responsible for further developing our talent acquisition function in close collaboration with various HR & business stakeholders and the regional recruiter community. You will continue further developing the competencies of our recruiter network to ensure efficient, scalable, and flexible talent acquisition processes across over 50 Metso locations globally.

 

What you’ll do

 

  • Create and develop a global talent acquisition strategy and related concepts to support our business growth.
  • Further build and develop a global network of professional recruiters who will report to you in dotted line.
  • Strengthen our proactive talent sourcing capabilities across the organization.
  • Develop and implement new ways of working in talent acquisition aligned with our D&I goals to ensure inclusive talent acquisition practices.
  • Identify areas of improvement from process and system point of view and work closely with global and local HR teams to identify priority development areas to further enhance the candidate experience.
  • Contribute to building improved metrics and KPIs to ensure high-performing Talent Acquisition operations across the globe.

 

Who you are

 

  • Proven expertise in developing and scaling talent acquisition function at the regional and global level.
  • Skilled at building diverse teams and working with key leadership to understand business plans and hiring implications.
  • Track record of creating and implementing effective data-driven recruiting strategies, including leveraging data to drive improvements.
  • Deep understanding of using data to enhance performance, identify efficiencies, and diagnose issues within the recruitment process.
  • Experienced in developing recruitment processes and concepts, including platform development, improving candidate experience, and other Talent Acquisition initiatives.
  • Passion for your work, with strong customer orientation and a growth mindset.
  • Self-starter mindset with an ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Fluent written and spoken English language skills are required.

Recruitment timeline: 

  • First interview round: Scheduled via Teams during weeks 4 and 5 (late January). You will meet the Hiring Manager and Talent Acquisition Manager for a 45–60-minute discussion.
  • Second interview round: Takes place during weeks 5 and 6 (early February). This round includes a 45–60-minute meeting with (global) HR colleagues to discuss your fit for the role.
  • Candidate assessment: As part of the process, you may be asked to complete an assessment to support the selection process.
  • Final decision: We aim to conclude the recruitment process and communicate the outcome by mid-February.
