We are looking for a Communications Director/Senior Manager to drive corporate content creation, global internal communication, and channel management in Metso. In your role, you will have the opportunity to play an important part in shaping our communications strategy and building our channel management to meet the needs of the future. You will work in close collaboration with the whole global Communications and Brand team and various business stakeholders. You report to the Vice President, Communications and Brand.

 

 

What you'll do

 

  • Developing and driving the company's communications strategy and communications processes and practices throughout the company globally.
  • Driving or managing the communications planning and execution of key global change initiatives together with key stakeholders.
  • Managing the company's global communications channels and driving their development, including high-quality multi-channel content creation for various corporate channels according to a defined content strategy and concepts.
  • Ensuring effective internal communications practices and processes for the whole company
  • Ensuring consistent and aligned communications on company key messages in communications-owned corporate channels in close collaboration with top management and several internal stakeholders in the company's business areas, market areas, and corporate functions.
  • Managing the Channels and internal communications team.

 

 

Who you are

 

  • Master's degree in Communications or an applicable field.
  • Experience working in a global company setup to drive impactful communications.
  • Good understanding of modern and digital business communications channels and channel management.
  • Good digital skills and experience in successfully utilizing multiple channels.
  • Excellent interpersonal and networking skills.
  • Excellent written and spoken English skills, command of other languages is an advantage.
