We’re looking for a Director of Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) to lead our global planning strategy for the Consumables Business Area. In this role, you’ll drive the S&OP operating model across business lines and market areas, ensuring alignment with our business objectives and growth targets. You’ll work closely with key stakeholders to manage the full S&OP cycle while continuously improving processes and performance.

 

As the lead of Global S&OP, you’ll own KPI frameworks, reporting, and the ongoing development of our operating model. You’ll also design and implement risk management strategies to strengthen resilience and safeguard supply chain efficiency. This is a critical role within our Global Planning and Supply Chain Development organization, shaping the future of inventory management and operational excellence for the Consumables Business Area.

 

This position is mainly located in Finland, but we are happy to look at the flexible working arrangements.

You will join a team of professionals who are passionate about taking the Consumables Business Area to the next level and delivering business results by working closely with colleagues around the world and delivering next-level global S&OP and Inventory Management for the business area. We are currently implementing the new team, developing ways of working, and looking for the best candidate to join us on this journey.

What you’ll do

 

  • Review, design, implement, and lead business area S&OP for all business lines and market areas
  • Ensuring high performance and effective cycle and execution of the S&OP globally, regionally, and locally for all long-, mid-, and short-term
  • Continuously developing S&OP tools, systems, and processes by acting as a Business Owner
  • Drive scenario planning and decision-making capabilities for the executive S&OP forums
  • Lead and facilitate S&OP meetings as per the global cycle and cadence
  • Ensure global demand and global supply are balanced, accurate, and aligned
  • Create a risk mitigation and contingency plan for demand/supply changes
  • Lead S&OP performance monitoring and reporting

 

 

Who you are

 

  • You have a very good understanding, and you have experience in sales and operational planning
  • Skilled in aligning planning processes with commercial goals, financial targets, and strategic priorities
  • A strategic mindset to develop a way of working for the future needs
  • Experience in business development initiatives and capabilities to convert future targets into a roadmap, which means you can model different scenarios and prepare contingency plans
  • You have expertise and a proven track record in global supply chain operations
  • You believe in data-driven decision-making and have a strong analytical mindset, as well as performance management
  • Ability to lead, influence, and train across the functions involved and impact on sales and operational planning
  • A proven track record in collaboration, delivering changes, and managing different stakeholders in a diverse environment
