We are looking for a Communications Director to lead communications for our Aggregates business area (BA) and Aggregates segment at Metso. In this role, you will have the opportunity to drive Aggregates' communications strategy, support Aggregates' BA leadership, and manage communications around key strategic initiatives. You will work closely with the global Communications and Brand team, Aggregates marketing, and various business stakeholders. You will report to the Vice President, Communications and Brand, and belong to the Aggregates BA leadership team.
What you'll do
- Develop and drive the Aggregates BA communications strategy and processes globally.
- Provide communications coaching and support to the Aggregates BA leadership team.
- Understand business operations and priorities and provide proactive communication and change management support for strategic initiatives such as M&As, divestments, and other organizational changes.
- Drive business area communications development and execution for regular activities.
- Develop and drive the Aggregates segment level communication together with Business Communication colleagues.
- Collaborate with Marketing and Group communications colleagues to ensure optimal visibility for strategic offering launches and key messages/themes in external communications.
- Manage business area communications channels, including intranet and Viva Engage.
Who you are
- Master's degree in Communications or an applicable field.
- Extensive experience working in a global company setup to drive impactful communications that support growth and transformation.
- Good understanding of modern and digital business communications channels and channel management.
- Good digital skills and experience in successfully utilizing multiple channels.
- Excellent interpersonal and networking skills.
- Excellent written and spoken English skills, a command of other languages is an advantage.
