Introduction

 

We are looking for a Communications Manager, Corporate Content to help shape Metso's corporate storytelling as a part of the Communications and Public Affairs team. This position is a fixed term parental leave replacement starting in October 2026.

 

In this role, you will be responsible for developing and managing corporate content on Metso.com, showcasing our expertise, innovations and customer successes to global audiences. You will work closely with content owners, subject matter experts, marketers and the web team to ensure high-quality, engaging and brand-aligned visual and written content across our digital channels. You will also support Aggregates Business Area communications, and as part of our communications team, you will take turns in publishing releases and managing Metso's social media calendar.

 

At Metso, you'll have the opportunity to work with a global team of communications professionals and contribute to topics that support the transition toward more sustainable industries. You'll play a key role in telling the stories behind our technologies, innovations and customer successes while developing your expertise in a dynamic international environment.

 

What you'll do

 

  • Manage and develop corporate content areas on Metso.com, including About us, Newsroom and Insights.
  • Coordinate and implement content updates across Metso.com, including annual updates linked to the Annual Report.
  • Manage the Metso.com front page together with the web team.
  • Own the customer case and blog publishing process and editorial calendar for Metso Insights.
  • Edit, proofread and publish global articles and customer stories in the content management system.
  • Work closely with stakeholders across the company to identify and develop compelling stories.
  • Support Aggregates Business Area communications through content creation, press releases, product releases and other communications activities.
  • Participate in team-wide communications processes, including release and social media publishing rotations.
  • Monitor and report website performance and key content metrics.

 

Who you are

 

We are looking for a communications professional who combines strong editorial expertise with digital mindset and stakeholder management skills.

 

To succeed in this role, you will have:

 

  • Relevant degree in communications, marketing, journalism or related field.
  • Experience in corporate communications, content marketing or digital communications.
  • Strong content creation, editing and storytelling capabilities.
  • Experience working with web publishing and content management systems (experience with Episerver/Optimizely is an advantage).
  • Understanding of social media and digital communications channels.
  • Good visual eye and understanding of brand guidelines.
  • Experience in photo and video editing is considered a benefit.
  • Strong project management and coordination skills.
  • Ability to collaborate with diverse stakeholders in an international environment.
  • Excellent written and spoken English. Additional languages are an advantage.
