Introduction

We are seeking a Customer Experience Measurement (CXM) Platforms Manager to join our Global Customer Experience -team. In this position, you will be responsible for managing and developing our technical tools and platforms for Customer Experience Measurement (CXM).

The candidate we are looking for has strong experience in developing IT platforms and designing end-to-end solutions, and with implementation of (customer) feedback tools and processes. Ideally you have had a role in a business or IT technical team or have worked in close collaboration with business owners in development. You are passionate about understanding and improving customer experiences. Your work will contribute directly to strengthening our customer-focused growth culture and driving continuous improvement based on customer experience data.

In this position, you will report to Maarit Kivinen, Director, Customer Loyalty, and be located in Espoo, Finland.

Team you will belong to

You will join a global team of CX professionals dedicated to measuring customer experience and leading the use of data to drive meaningful improvements across Metso. We collaborate closely with a large network of internal stakeholders from businesses and regions.

Our team needs to advance multiple initiatives in various stages of maturity, so flexibility and aptitude for coordinating different business priorities will be required. The position requires especially strong coordination skills and ability to network and communicate with a wide group of stakeholders. As we are dependent on other teams in our development, collaborative attitude for cross team prioritization is essential. In a small team we value flexibility, openness and willingness to support others.

What you’ll do

  • Serve as the Technical Product Owner, leading the agile development of Metso’s CXM tools and platforms across the end‑to‑end architecture while ensuring alignment with budget, scope, and business requirements.
  • Own and drive your assigned development tickets during sprints, including hands-on configuration and development tasks when needed.
  • Together with IT Application Services, monitor and manage the performance and functionality of Metso’s CXM tools, data flows, feedback architecture, and integrations—addressing improvement areas, issues, and fixes with internal teams and external partners.
  • Maintain and manage feedback questionnaires, messages, and translations within the feedback tool.
  • Contribute to CX strategic planning and the development roadmap by proactively identifying and assessing new opportunities in CXM and analytics.

Who you are

  • You bring experience in IT project management and have led development in a cross‑platform architecture using API-based integrations. You have designed solutions that balance business goals, technical constraints, and scalability.
  • You have hands-on experience with agile development practices and have worked as a Product Owner. You excel at translating business requirements into technical specifications and documentation, ensuring a balance between feasibility and business value.
  • You are comfortable working with a variety of IT technologies and platforms (e.g., Salesforce, Dynamics, Power Platform, Azure) and have strong Excel skills; HTML knowledge is a plus.
  • You have practical experience managing technical tasks within specific IT platform solutions and tools.
  • You are skilled at diagnosing complex technical issues and approaching problem-solving with structure and clarity.
  • You have strong presentation, communication, and collaboration skills, and you feel confident proactively networking across a global matrix organization.
  • You are detail-oriented, organized, analytical, and have a naturally curious approach to solving problems.
  • You possess architectural thinking, take ownership of tasks, and follow through until solutions are delivered.
  • You thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with evolving priorities.
  • You have strong English skills.

Considered as advantage

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Information Science, or a related field.
  • Experience working in a cross-cultural matrix organization, in a technical IT role, or within a business team.
  • Experience with Customer Experience (CX) processes and surveying tools (e.g., Qualtrics), as well as translation management workflows.
  • Expert-level skills in configuring or customizing Salesforce, Dynamics, Power Platform, or Azure API; relevant certifications are a plus.
  • Knowledge of data concepts and SQL, including ability to read, interpret, or write queries to support troubleshooting or analytics use cases.
  • Practical experience working with AI-powered tools.

What’s in it for you

  • An inspiring purpose - Enabling sustainable modern life. Minerals and metals are the backbone of essential functions in the modern world. However, there's a pressing need for more sustainable solutions to collect and process them. At Metso, you get to be part of transforming the industry and making a positive change.

  • Compensation and rewards - Global incentive program tied to business and performance targets, and meal benefits.
