Introduction

We are seeking an Application Specialist, Power Platform, to join our Sales, Service, and Marketing team in Metso IT Applications. You will be responsible for developing and maintaining applications built on Microsoft Power platform. In this position, you will report to the Manager of CRM & Services. This position is based in Espoo, Finland, and we offer flexible working arrangements, including hybrid options. The role can also be based in India, for example in Gurugram or other locations.

What'll you do 

• Provide hands-on support towards the development and maintenance of applications built on Microsoft power platform 
• Ensure fit-for-purpose and secure solutions with respect to the overall enterprise architecture 
• Provide technical guidance to development and support teams when necessary 
• Collaborate with enterprise and solution architects, other IT development and support teams, and external partners. 
• Play a key role in development projects and are a key stakeholder in the SAFe (Scaled Agile Framework) development process. 
• Assist Power Platform owner in implementing governance and security controls
• Support development and adoption of AI/Copilot capabilities 

Who you are 

• Bachelor's or master's degree for example, in Information Technology or Engineering 
• At least two years of hands-on implementation experience in Microsoft Power Platform. 
• Building mobile and web applications with PowerApps (canvas and model-driven) 
• Experience with popular application backends like Microsoft Dataverse, SharePoint, Azure SQL databases etc. 
• Leveraging PowerApps component framework (PCF) when necessary 
• Solid experience with Power Automate and Logic apps 
• Knowledge of Azure functions and custom application development using React/React Native is a plus 
• Good negotiation skills and excellent communication skills in English since you will be collaborating with different stakeholders in a multicultural environment.
