Introduction
We are looking for an Application Owner, HR to join our HR & Admin team in Metso IT.
As an Application Owner, HR you will join a multi-functional team to take responsibility for the development and advanced support of HR applications and related interfaces.
You are responsible for our global SAP Successfactors application service, collecting and documenting requirements, perform functional analysis, design, build/test/document solutions as required and perform knowledge transfers to stakeholders. You also plan and participate development projects as well as in SAFe/Agile development processes. You support the HR users and concept owners in troubleshooting in both application and business process issues.
To secure application service delivery, you co-operate with many stakeholders: HR & Admin team members, HR, legal, compliance, privacy and risk management functions, partners and IT teams. You also interact with peers and follow overall applications’ development in other companies.
This position is based in Espoo, Finland, with the possibility of hybrid work.

Who you are
We are looking for someone who:
- Is willing to take ownership of a wide and critical solution and actively engage in everything around it, from architecture visioning to development steering and problem solving.
- Develops and drives development tool services in diverse environments.
- has a strong drive to meet goals and targets while ensuring IT governance.
- has excellent coordination skills and you have ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- has great communication and presentation skills and ability to collaborate effectively with IT and business counterparts.
- Has strong English communication skills (written and spoken) while Finnish is considered an asset.
To succeed in this role, you should have:
- Hands-on experience with HR IT applications, especially SAP Successfactors. Familiarity with SAP HR, ServiceNow, SharePoint, Identity and Access Management (IAM), API Integrations development, and AI are considered an advantage.
- A solid understanding of ITIL, SAFe and Agile ways of working.
