This role can be either a senior role, depending on how strong experience you have, or you can grow into a Senior Automation Chief Engineer. Job responsibilities can vary, depending on how experienced you are.
 

What you’ll do

 

  • Design and deliver process control systems and digital solutions for minerals processing plants
  • Own your delivery package in terms of quality, schedule, and cost, from conceptual design until final handover at the site
  • Supervise programming of control applications
  • Manage engineering work and hardware supply
  • Work as a project manager for control systems deliveries with end-to-end responsibility from sales to commissioning
  • Support sales
  • Support the team in project execution, sales, and development (Senior role)
  • Participate in developing our ways of working in process automation (Senior role) 
     


Who you are

 

  • Experience in process automation, DCS engineering, programming, and/or project execution (Senior level: Strong evidence of experience and part of it as a project management role in DCS projects)
  • Master’s or bachelor’s degree in automation engineering
  • Fluent in spoken and written English
  • Ownership of the project and ability to lead a project team
  • Proactive and project-oriented attitude
  • Aspiration to seek advantage for customers by means of automation 
  • Experience in DCS system delivery project, Siemens PCS7 is an advantage
  • Experience in field instrumentation or process electrification is an advantage
  • Experience in mineral processes is an advantage
  • Ability to support and coach younger team members to grow (Senior role)
  • Ability and willingness to positively influence the sales and business growth of process automation (Senior role)
