THE ROLE
Reporting to the Production Manager, and as part of the Esperance facility, we are seeking a mechanically minded Store Person / Trades Assistant to assist the team. This is a residential role working a 4 day working week, located in Esperance, Western Australia.
Key Task include:
- Plan work to meet Chute Solutions and Customer delivery expectation.
- Unloading and receipting in goods received.
- Assisting Trades people with tasks throughout the workshop.
- Packing and dispatching finished goods including booking freight.
- Partake in stock takes as required.
- Attend and participate in meetings (toolbox, production, job planning, safety) and provide input as appropriate.
THE PERSON
- Previous work experience in similiar role
- Good organisational skills
- Problem solving ability
- Flexible and cooperative team attitude
- Ability to prioritise workload
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety procedures, operating and maintenance instructions, and technical manuals
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
HIGHLY DESIRABLE
- Forklift Licence
- Drivers Licence
- Previous experience with SAP
