Introduction

We are seeking a Sales & Site Account Manager (m/f/d) for Belgium and neighbour countries to strengthen our Sales & Service organization within the Pumps & Mill Lining business. The role is accountable for driving profitable growth across aftermarket and capital business for pumps, cyclones, mill lining and related solutions. This position will be in the Netherlands or around the Belgian border in Germany, whatever suits best, we are happy to offer flexible working arrangements, including remote working options.

 

What you’ll do

  • Drive profitable business growth within the assigned territory and customer sites, with a strong focus on pumps, pump-related products, cyclones, mill lining, and associated aftermarket and capital solutions.
  • Identify and develop aftermarket opportunities and proactively uncover capex investment potential in close collaboration with capital sales teams.
  • Act as the primary commercial interface at site level, building strong relationships with key customer stakeholders and ensuring internal alignment across Metso functions.
  • Lead site account planning, including strategy definition, relationship management, site-level budgeting, activity plans, and sales roadmaps.
  • Understand customer operations, business drivers, and capex/opex decision processes to clearly articulate and defend Metso’s value proposition.
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams and internal resources to ensure effective customer engagement, prioritization, and execution at site level.
  • Drive continuous improvement through customer satisfaction surveys, closed-loop feedback processes, and performance monitoring.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date CRM, pipeline, and installed base data to ensure transparency, forecasting accuracy, and disciplined reporting.

 

Who you are

  • Proven experience in technical sales, site account management, or key account management within pumps, minerals processing, or heavy industrial environments.
  • Strong commercial mindset with a track record in aftermarket sales and identification of capex opportunities.
  • Ability to manage complex customer environments and work effectively across cross-functional and cross-border teams.
  • Structured, self-driven working style with high ownership and execution discipline.
  • Willingness to travel extensively within the Benelux region (approx. 50–70% Belgium and neighbour countries).
  • Fluency in English, Dutch and French.
