Introduction

We are looking for a Warehouse Associate / Warehouse Technician to join our Warehouse and Production Operations Team. In this role, you will be responsible for the accurate and timely receiving, pulling, staging, packaging, and shipment of materials that support warehouse and production activities. Your work will directly contribute to customer satisfaction by ensuring products and components are received, stored, and delivered with a high level of safety, accuracy, and quality.

You will report to the Troy Davidson, Warehouse Operations Supervisor
This role is based in Columbia, SC and is an onsite position.
This role includes approximately 5% travel as required.

Team you will belong to

You will join a team focused on supporting warehouse and production operations through efficient inventory management, receiving, material handling, and shipment preparation. Our team plays a key role in ensuring products and components are available to meet assembly schedules, customer requirements, and delivery commitments.
We collaborate closely with Production Managers, Assembly Leads, warehouse personnel, logistics teams, and production employees. Our ways of working emphasize safety, quality, accountability, teamwork, continuous improvement, and customer satisfaction.

What you'll do

• Receive incoming goods accurately and in a timely manner to support warehouse operations.
• Pull, stage, and prepare parts and materials required for production and assembly orders.
• Collaborate with the Production Manager and Assembly Lead to resolve receiving, inventory, or material issues impacting production.
• Ensure all work is completed in accordance with established quality, safety, cost, and delivery standards.
• Maintain warehouse organization and cleanliness to support efficient operations.
• Tag, pack, crate, and load products according to production orders and company procedures.
• Support inventory accuracy and material movement throughout the warehouse and production facility.
• Perform miscellaneous duties and special projects assigned by the Production Manager.

What you'll bring

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Relevant industry experience in warehouse, manufacturing, production, or material handling environments.
• Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings and technical documentation.
• Knowledge of safe operation of overhead cranes and jib cranes.
• Valid state-issued driver's license required for company forklift operation.
• Strong mechanical aptitude.
• Experience using hand tools and power tools in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
• Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills in English.
• Ability to build positive working relationships and collaborate across teams.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience working within organizations that support international operations and objectives.
• Self-directed, motivated, and able to work independently.
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to identify operational issues and recommend corrective actions.
• Flexible and adaptable team player willing to support changing business needs.

Physical Work Requirements

This role includes significant physical work requirements. Employees must be able to:

• Lift materials weighing up to 20 lbs. regularly and up to 50 lbs. occasionally.
• Stoop, bend, sit, walk, climb, and work in physically demanding environments.
• Work extended hours when business needs require.
• Work in varying environmental conditions, including exposure to heat, cold, humidity, fumes, airborne particles, chemicals, loud noise, and outdoor weather conditions.
• Maintain visual acuity including close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and focus adjustment.
• Use keyboards, telephones, copiers, and other office equipment as required.
