Introduction

 

We are seeking a Warehouse Technician to join our US15 Warehouse Operations team. You will be responsible for final paint touch-ups, packing, and crating of pumps and sub-assemblies, as well as supporting warehouse receiving and pulling activities. Your role plays a crucial part in ensuring product quality and timely delivery, contributing to high customer satisfaction. In this position, you will report to the Production Manager.

 

This position is mainly located in Columbia, SC, and involves physical work in a warehouse environment.

 

 

Team You Belong To:

 

You will join a team of warehouse and production professionals dedicated to maintaining high standards of quality, safety, and efficiency. We are currently working on final assembly and shipment preparation of pumps and sub-assemblies, collaborating closely with Warehouse Supervisors, Production Managers, and internal logistics teams. Our team culture values precision, teamwork, and continuous improvement, with members located at the US15 facility.

 

 

What You’ll Do:

 

  • Perform touch-up painting by hand brush on pumps and other products.
  • Pack and crate goods for shipment from the US15 facility.
  • Receive goods accurately and timely into the warehouse system.
  • Pull and stage parts for production orders.
  • Resolve receiving/pulling issues in consultation with supervisors.
  • Maintain warehouse cleanliness and organization.
  • Tag, pack, crate, and load products per production orders.
  • Support miscellaneous duties and special projects as directed.

 


Who You Are:

 

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings.
  • Experience in paint and crating operations.
  • Skilled in operating overhead and jib cranes safely.
  • Valid state-issued driver’s license for forklift operation.
  • Familiarity with computerized inventory systems (SAP is a plus).
  • Proficient with hand and power tools (e.g., nail guns, table saws).
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills in English.
  • Able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Self-directed, motivated, and proactive in identifying issues.
  • Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and working in varied conditions (heat, cold, humidity, noise, etc.).
  • Visual acuity for detailed work and safe equipment operation.
