Introduction 

 

We are seeking a Senior Manager, Region ECA & AFR Warehousing to join the Consumables business area and the regional operating hub for ECA & AFR. You will lead, develop, and optimize warehouse operations across the region to ensure safe, efficient, and cost-effective material flow supporting customer delivery. You will ensure capacity readiness, inventory accuracy, operational performance, and continuous improvement while enabling strategic transformation in warehousing capabilities, automation, and digitalization. Your role plays a crucial part in the business area strategy, which will contribute to both our profitability and our service levels to customers. 

 

In this position, you will report to Tuuli Arkimies, Head of Region ECA & AFR Logistics and be located preferably in Centurion, Espoo or Tampere.

What you’ll do 

 

  • Lead Regional Warehouse Operations 

  • Oversee day‑to‑day performance across all regional warehouse sites, ensuring safe, reliable, and efficient operations.  

  • Manage capacity, throughput, and resource allocation to meet manufacturing and customer delivery requirements. 

  • Ensure high inventory accuracy, effective material handling, and strong alignment with planning and manufacturing. Drive improvements to reduce excess handling, avoid stockouts, and minimize shrinkage or discrepancies. 

  • Champion a proactive safety culture and ensure compliance with regulatory, environmental, and internal standards. Conduct regular audits, address risks, and ensure proper handling and storage for all material types. 

  • Lead, mentor, and support warehouse managers and supervisors, fostering a culture of accountability, performance, and continuous learning.  

  • Oversee workforce planning, training, and succession pipelines for critical skills. 

  • Lead Lean and efficiency initiatives to improve processes, reduce cost, and enhance service.  

  • Drive the rollout and adoption of WMS, automation, and digital tools that improve accuracy, traceability, and productivity. 

  • Serve as a key partner to manufacturing, planning, logistics, procurement, and customer service.  

  • Support end‑to‑end material flow, resolve operational bottlenecks, and contribute to S&OP / SIOP and network optimization decisions.

  • You have experience with WMS, automation, and digital warehousing tools. 

  • You demonstrate strong analytical and data literacy skills.

  • You have the ability to lead multi-site teams and drive change.
