JOB TITLE: PROJECT MANAGER, GRINDING BASED IN CENTURION, SOUTH AFRICA
We're looking for a Project Manager, Grinding to join our Project Delivery Grinding team. Your work will play a key part in delivering complex technical projects while supporting sustainable growth and long-term customer partnerships.
You will report to the Manager, Project Delivery Grinding.
This role will be based in Centurion, South Africa, with a hybrid working model.
Team you belong to
You will join our Project Delivery Grinding team, working closely with Engineering, Supply Chain, Procurement, Construction, Contract Management, Sales, customers, and cooperation partners. The team is focused on delivering high-quality grinding solutions and successful project outcomes across the mining and minerals processing industry.
What you'll do
- Lead end-to-end execution of minerals grinding projects, including planning, coordination, execution, monitoring, and close-out.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental requirements throughout all phases of project delivery.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships, acting as the primary point of contact and proactively resolving project issues.
- Manage project scope, contract requirements, change control processes, and project interfaces.
- Take responsibility for project budgets, profitability, forecasting, cost control, and financial reporting.
- Coordinate engineering, procurement, fabrication, construction, and resource activities to meet project schedules and objectives.
- Identify, assess, and manage project risks while implementing corrective actions and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Lead multidisciplinary teams and collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders in a matrix organization.
What you'll bring
- Solid experience in EPC/M project management within mining and minerals processing environments.
- Demonstrated experience delivering complex technical projects in international environments.
- Strong understanding of customer requirements, project execution methodologies, and site installation activities.
- Experience managing project budgets, schedules, commercial performance, and contract obligations.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to empower teams, manage performance, and drive results.
- Excellent planning, organizational, decision-making, and problem-solving capabilities.
- Ability to work effectively across diverse cultures, stakeholders, and matrix organizations.
- Strong analytical skills and a structured approach to project execution.
- Professional communication skills in English.
- Proficiency with SAP, Enovia, Microsoft Office, AutoCAD, or similar business systems and project tools.
- High level of ownership, reliability, adaptability, and ability to work independently.
