  • Ensure compliance with South African export regulations, customs requirements, Incoterms, and country-specific trade requirements.
  • Resolve transportation, customs, border, delivery, and shipment-related issues proactively while communicating effectively with customers and stakeholders.
  • Support ITAC permit applications where required and manage logistics claims, reporting, invoice processing, and performance updates.

  • Experience coordinating air freight exports and managing multimodal logistics activities.
  • Strong practical knowledge of export documentation, customs clearance processes, border procedures, and international trade requirements.
  • Demonstrated experience managing Logistics Service Providers, transporters, and freight forwarders to achieve service, cost, and delivery objectives.
  • Practical knowledge of SADC logistics and customs requirements, including experience supporting shipments into countries such as Zimbabwe, Mozambique, Namibia, Botswana, and Tanzania.
  • Knowledge of Incoterms and the ability to ensure compliance across export activities.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across functions and with external partners.

  • Good computer literacy, including Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Fluent English communication skills.
  • Willingness to travel to the Distribution Centre at Plumbago Park when required and flexibility to support occasional after-hours logistics activities.
