Introduction and Team you will belong to
You will work within the Rubber & Polymet Supply Chain and be responsible for Quality Engineering of a manufacturing unit based at Canning vale that has a key role to contribute our Tier 1 journey by running and maintaining technically our globally standardized quality assurance processes to meet the requirements set in Quality Control Plans.

The Role Responsibilities:
- Runs and maintains the quality assurance process locally.
- Maintains and develops quality technologies in the unit (measurement devices and their capabilities and calibration)
- Maintains the quality data collection as part of quality assurance process
- Registers customer and stakeholder complaints and facilitates root cause analysis and elimination.
- Facilitates the implementation of quality targets and action plans.
- Participates the quality assurance development in the network of quality professionals locally and globally
- Supports and trains quality technology related competence to the operators
- Participates internal quality audits and certification audits
- Runs quality self-assessment annually as a teamwork together with quality professionals and unit management team and participates and contributes to quality roadmap creation
- Acts as a quality and continuous improvement ambassador and role model in quality, mentoring and coaching operators and office staff with practical approach.
- Is a member of R&P SC Global Quality network
The successful candidate will possess the following:
You have a burning desire to take Rubber & Polymet Supply Chain manufacturing unit to Tier-1 level in regards of quality. You understand that it is possible by building efficient quality assurance system and implementing standard ways of working in it by having strong competence in quality technologies, manufacturing processes, product and process specifications and standards and continuous improvement
- Theoretical knowledge and practical experience on quality technologies (quality concepts and principles, measurement technology, calibration, data collection systems)
- Theoretical knowledge of daily management systems and methodologies and successful track record in implementing and running ISO 9001 requirements and continuous improvement practices.
- Over 5 years practical experience in quality engineering
- Bachelor/Master of Science in Engineering or equivalent technical degree.
- Certifications of ISO 9001 e.g. an internal auditor is an asset.
- English language (full professional proficiency) and local language in question (full professional proficiency)
- Microsoft Office 365 and general computer proficiency.
- SAP and data organizing and analysis skills
- Willing to learn
