The role

Reporting to the ME & Maintenance Manager, you will be responsible for maintenance works to repair, maintain and service production equipment and systems.

 

This position will be based at our Canning vale site alongside our supportive team of colleagues.

 

Main Responsibilities include:

  • Perform skilled maintenance and repair services of production facilities, systems and equipment.
  • Interpret blueprints and schematic; implement methods, practices, and techniques of maintaining production facilities, systems and equipment to identify and address recurring problems with machinery, equipment or parts.
  • Conduct periodic inspection to evaluate request for repair.
  • Demonstrated machine trouble shooting, problem solving and fault-finding experience with PLC experience is desirable.
  • Perform preventive maintenance of RCD’s, Emergency switches, circuit breakers and keep record to the relevant file.
  • Repair/Replace indoor and outdoor lights, switches, sensors and fans.

 

To succeed the successful candidate will essentially present with:

  • Must have WA A grade Electrical License.
  • Sound computer skills with common software such as Microsoft word, excel.
  • Excellent planning and organisational skills.
  • A high level of attention to detail.
  • Proven safe work practices and commitment to safety.
  • Great communication skills within a team environment and a team player with flexibility to assist all areas when needed.
  • Enjoys collaborating and contributing together for a team outcome
  • Able to successfully complete a pre-employment medical and DAS as part of the onboarding process

 

Desirable  

  • 5 years’ experience in a similar role, preferably within a manufacturing environment.
