Introduction
We are seeking a Services Technical Sales Support Representative to join our Beneficiation & Dewatering team. You will be responsible for identifying upgrade and modernization opportunities, developing technical solutions, and providing in-depth technology support, which involves collaborating closely with Account Managers and Customer Service teams. Your role plays a crucial part in driving parts and upgrade sales for Metso equipment, contributing to the overall growth and profitability of our Dewatering product portfolio. In this position, you will report to the Director- Process Solutions
This position is mainly located in Canada, however, it involves up to 50% travel, including occasional international travel.
Team you belong to
You will join a team of Dewatering product and process experts dedicated to delivering advanced technical support, developing value-driven solutions, and ensuring the reliable performance of Metso equipment across the region. We are currently working on sales growth initiatives, technical solution development, and supporting upgrades, modernizations, and troubleshooting activities.
We work closely with internal and external stakeholders, such as Account Managers, Customer Service Representatives, Field Service teams, and global technical specialists. Our team culture is all about collaboration, technical excellence, and customer-centric service delivery. The members of our team are located in various sites across Canada and globally.
What you’ll do
- Provide technical sales support through Salesforce, including supplying drawings, specifications, and technical documentation.
- Execute product strategy to drive sales growth and profitability within the Canadian Market Area.
- Offer product support, technical analysis, and troubleshooting for customers and internal teams.
- Develop and present customer value solutions, value propositions, and win plans.
- Ensure systematic case handling through workflow ticketing systems with timely responses.
- Support MTO/CTO/ETO quotation development through solution definition and technical research.
- Participate in warranty claims, complaint handling, and inspection report reviews.
- Provide remote technical support, training, and collaboration with Field Service teams.
Who you are
- You bring 5+ years of industry experience in a related technical field.
- You have strong knowledge of Metso Dewatering equipment (PF, FFP, VPA) and related processes.
- You hold a University Degree or Technology Diploma in Mineral Processing or Mining Engineering.
- You can read and interpret mechanical drawings, hydraulic/electrical schematics, and product documentation.
- You excel under pressure and can resolve issues impacting customer production operations.
- You are highly organized and capable of managing multiple assignments and deadlines.
- You possess strong communication skills in English, both written and spoken.
- Nice to have: French or Spanish language skills.
- Nice to have: Prior experience with Microsoft Office tools and CRM systems such as Salesforce.
