Introduction

 

We are seeking a Flotation, Thickening and Automation Product Group Intern to join our team. You will be responsible for supporting on sales material, marketing material development and creating success stories. In this position, you will report to Product Manager, Thickening Services.

 

This position is mainly located in Burlington, ON but we are happy to offer flexible working arrangements, including hybrid options.

 

 

Team you belong to

 

You will join a team of Project Managers, Thickeners responsible for managing and developing our thickening product line. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the smooth implementation of product strategies, promote innovation, and meet customer needs. You will act as a support in data analysis and market research, providing valuable insights to support product development. They will also handle administrative tasks, ensuring smooth project execution and team coordination.

 

 

What You’ll Do

 

  • Develop Sales and Marketing Materials: Create compelling sales and marketing materials, including success stories.
  • Produce Marketing Videos and Animations: Support the creation of engaging marketing videos and animations for new products.
  • Prepare Product Documentation: Ensure accurate and comprehensive product documentation in PDM systems.
  • Enhance Data Quality: Improve and harmonize install base data from previous delivery projects.
  • Generate Engineering Tools: Develop sizing tools and other engineering calculation tools for modernizations.
  • Improve Spare Part Configurators: Enhance configurators for spare parts in new products.
  • Prepare Preventive Maintenance Kits: Assist in the preparation of preventive maintenance kits for new products.
  • Support Product Development: Contribute to new product development, productization, and sustaining engineering tasks.

 

Who You Are

 

  • Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
  • Experience: in product management in the mining or industrial sector.
  • Technical Knowledge: Understanding of thickening technologies and processes.
  • Analytical Skills: Analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Team Collaboration: Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
  • Communication Skills: Communication and presentation skills.
  • Data Proficiency: Proficiency in data analysis and market research.
  • An interest in sustainability and innovation.
