Introduction

 

 

We are looking for a Tactical Sourcing Specialist to join our North and Central America (NCA) Sourcing Team. In this role, you will manage day-to-day sourcing activities supporting customer orders, quotations, and projects while ensuring supplier competitiveness, material availability, and operational excellence. You will collaborate with Strategic Sourcing, Business Line teams, Engineering, and other key stakeholders to deliver timely and cost-effective sourcing solutions that support business and customer needs. You will report to Leonardo Silva, Senior Manager, Tactical Sourcing.

 

 

This role is primarily based in Brookfield, WI with hybrid working options available.

 

 

 

Team you will belong to

 

 

You will join a team of 10 sourcing professionals focused on supporting operational sourcing activities across the North and Central America region. Our team plays a key role in ensuring the availability of critical crusher spare parts and maintaining efficient supply chain operations to support customer needs. We share a common focus on delivering sourcing excellence, supplier performance, and operational effectiveness. We collaborate closely with Strategic Sourcing, Engineering, Global Quotation Teams, Business Line stakeholders, and suppliers worldwide. Our team operates across multiple regions and emphasizes collaboration, accountability, continuous improvement, and delivering exceptional internal customer service.

 

 


What you'll do

 

 

 

  • Execute tactical sourcing activities to support customer sales orders, quotations, projects, and other business requirements.
  • Prepare, issue, and manage Requests for Quotation (RFQs), evaluating suppliers based on cost, quality, lead time, and technical requirements.
  • Collaborate with Market Area Sourcing, Engineering, Strategic Sourcing, Global Quotation Teams, and Business Line stakeholders.
  • Execute sourcing strategies through the approved supplier base while ensuring compliance with sourcing processes, systems, tools, and company policies.
  • Support supply base development initiatives and continuous improvement projects.
  • Translate business requirements into timely, cost-effective sourcing solutions that meet operational and customer needs.
  • Identify and communicate sourcing requirements and business needs to Market Area Sourcing and Business Line Sourcing teams.
  • Drive continuous improvement efforts that strengthen sourcing processes, supplier performance, and cross-functional collaboration.

 

 

What you'll bring

 

 

  • Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Engineering, Operations Management, or a related field.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in sourcing, procurement, purchasing, or supply chain roles, preferably within manufacturing, mining, heavy equipment, or industrial environments.
  • Strong technical aptitude with the ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
  • Experience working with SAP ERP and Microsoft Office applications.
  • Understanding of Procure-to-Pay (P2P) processes and procurement best practices.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and relationship-building abilities.
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment, manage competing priorities, and meet tight deadlines.
