Introduction:
 
We are seeking a results-driven Project Manager to join our LCS (Life Cycle Services) team to oversee and lead a variety of projects in the US. You will play a critical role in planning, coordinating, and implementing various LCS projects for Metso. The ideal candidate will have experience in Project Management, Inventory Management, and strong SAP skills. You’ll collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, stakeholders, and customers to ensure effective project execution.
 
In this position, you will report to the Manager, Project Management LCS USA.
 
This position would preferably be based near a Metso location (Brookfield, WI; York, PA; Mesa, AZ) but, we offer flexible working arrangements, including hybrid options; however, this position may involve up to 30% of international and domestic travel to customer sites and other internal Metso sites for training/meetings.
 
What you’ll do:
 

  • Project execution, monitoring, controlling and change management.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders to ensure project goals and objectives are met.
  • Resource Management: Allocate and manage resources, both human and material, to ensure project tasks are completed on time and within budget.
  • Risk Management: Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to minimize disruptions to project progress.
  • Schedule Management: Maintain project schedules, identify critical paths, and make adjustments as necessary to meet project deadlines.
  • Reporting: Prepare regular progress reports, financial reports, and other project-related documentation for stakeholders.
  • Budget Oversight: Manage project budgets, track expenditures, provide cost analysis to ensure financial goals are met and be sure that costs and revenues align.
  • Continuous Improvement: Identify areas for process improvement and implement best practices to enhance project management procedures.
  • Other duties, as assigned

 
Who you are:
 

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Engineering, Business, or Project Management).
  • Proven experience as a Project Manager.
  • Experience using SAP.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is a plus.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills.
  • Knowledge of project management methodologies and best practices.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Exceptional problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  • Excellent time management and multitasking skills.
