Introduction:

 

We are seeking a Crusher Wears Product Development Intern to join our team. You will be responsible to support the Crusher Wears Milwaukee Technology Center Team with crusher wear part Chamber Optimization (CHOP) projects for Metso rock crushers as well as third party equipment and other crusher wears product support tasks.

 

This position is mainly located in Brookfield, Wisconsin.

 

What you’ll do:

 

  • Participates in internal meetings related to CHOP projects with local and global team.
  • Works with Milwaukee Technology Center Team to process required customer field data.
  • Responsible for support projects of crusher wear parts.
  • Creates 3D models and 2D layouts for crusher wears components.
     

Who you are:

 

  • Engineering student in good standing (most suitable if Mechanical).
  • Adept computer skills, specifically in CAD (Autocad & Siemens NX ideal), Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Power BI and Outlook.
  • Experience in dealing with 3D scanning and point cloud analysis would be beneficial.
  • Knowledge and understanding of Mining and the crushing process would be useful.
  • Technical orientation and familiarity with metallurgy and mechanical equipment and processes desired.
  • Proficient analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to liaise with staff at all levels.
  • Ability to create reports and technical layouts.
  • Ability to clearly present information and respond to questions.
  • Proficient organization and project management skills.
