JOB STATEMENT

The job as Sales Support Manager aims to support and to identify business opportunities in the specific areas, and local needs in Mining Sales organization.
JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (in addition job statement)
- To work closely with sales manager to complete sales target set in the specific areas;
- To support Hydrometallurgy products sales as a specialist , cooperated with PL to complete the related equipment sizing in China market, identified all potential opportunities to promote Metso products sales;
- To technical support all product sales and complete related sales support document.
- To work with service manager to review the success of the installed project, and cooperate with sales & service to improve customer satisfaction for key project ;
- To work with PL to update product knowledge and proposal refining ;
- To review project proposal with supervisor together which the project value is predefined
- To assist sales support team for the standardization of product presentation & technical appendix;
- Monthly report the potential project included proposal & progress in the specific areas;
- Share the successful and lost project monthly during the team meeting;
- Build and maintain an red-banner customer at least per year in the specific areas; Other specific assignment from Manager;
- Communication with the customers and engineering companies/design institute smoothly in the technical aspect about the Metso Hydrometallurgy products.
- Well understanding the customer’s requirement and develop the detail scope for the project.
- Communication with product line to get the support from Metso overseas office.
- Give Training to group staff
- Support all sales manager from the technical aspect.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
- Technical degree qualification from university, extractive metallurgy major preferred
- Solid product knowledge in the mining and construction industry
- Ability to understand and implement MA strategy and to fully understand the financial requirements (including pricing, margin levels, profitability, SGA requirements etc)
- High level business ethics, ability to make autonomous decisions based on corporate values and contractual practices
- Good communications and negotiation skills.
- Fluent in oral and written in English & Chinese on technical field and commercial.
- Ability to travel overnight +/-50% or more, frequently on short notice
