Introduction

We are seeking a Manufacturing Process& Quality Manager to join our Metso, Screening BL, China Region, Consumable team. You will be responsible for managing a team of manufacturing process & quality team of the plant. 

Your role plays a crucial part in Screening BL, China Region, Consumable team. In this position, you will report to General Manager, Screening BL, China Region.

 

This position is mainly located in Shenyang.

You will join a team of screening business unit dedicated to screening equipment.


We work closely with internal and external stakeholders, such as all relative authority, China Operation team, R&D Engineering and SCM, China Sales and AM teams, Regional Product Managers and Delivery team. What you’ll do

 

  • Guide and prepare process management documents such as tooling and fixtures setting scheme, process standards, manuals, and quality control points.
  • Review product process design based on engineering requirements and accurate requirements, fully understand the authenticity of equipment capabilities and ensure the reliability of product production.
  • As a leader to drive productivity improvement based on process standard, provide guidance and services to key parts & processes at the production sites.
  • Arrange new processes or review & revise the processes according to the reference plan on product quality status, new equipment and new materials. Be responsible for solving the technical problems When poor process or product quality stability is found in the workshop.
  • Assign and check PE engineer to complete the high-quality task daily,Tracking the result of the manufacturing process during production, labor and manufacturing cost reduction year by year.
  • Organize the inspection of the implementation of operator's process discipline, propose corrective measures in time if any violation of process discipline is found.
  • Lead plant layout design and improvement based on Lean and Ergo-Check concept.
  • Maintenance and development of Q/E/S system according to ISO 9001.IS0 14000, OSAS 18000.
  • Manage quality activities in all processes, manufacturing and customer quality.
  • Guarantee the quality compliance of all the products and service provided to internal and external customers.
  • To develop and improve continuously a quality system according to ISO9001/ISO14001/other required standards.
  • To perform internal process/product audits on key characteristics and follow up efficient corrective action plans implementations.
  • To follow up training plans, and train people in quality best practices and tools.
  • Lead (coach) quality improvement projects.
  • To define and improve the qualification of components initial samples. (control plans, tools, KPI’s)
  • To ensure that all measurement devices are calculated according to required standards. (ISO, GB…)
  • To manage incoming inspection, to develop incoming control plans.
  • To manage Customer Claims process and ensure that the corrective action plans are efficient.
  • To elaborate and inform timely to organization and management on quality information. (KPI’s)
  • Work as quality interface to global organization.

 

Who you are

 

  • Bachelor’s degree or above education background, majoring in machinery manufacturing and automation or related subjects; fluent English skill.
  • 10 years or above related work experience. Welding or Assembly process is the mandatory requirement, Machining and Painting also needed.
  • Familiar with know well the products, market and customer.
  • ISO9001/ISO14001knowledge.
  • Familiar with MS Office software; know well mechanical drawing and able to proficiently use 2D drawing software such as CAD; able to 3D drawing software such as Solid works for the design of product process.
  • Quality and Lean tools, 5S, PDCA, Kaizen, FMEA, problem solving knowledge and usage experience.
