Supplier Quality Assurance Manager, CNS Metallic Procurement

Introduction

We are seeking a Supplier Quality Assurance Manager, CNS Metallic Procurement to join our CNS Procurement team. You will be responsible for supplier quality management process and to develop the supplier quality performance level: quality planning, quality control and quality improvement, which involves different problem solving situation, analysing processes, documenting the root causes and to following the agreed corrective actions. Your role plays a crucial part in suppliers used or to be used in the supply operation of Metso in Turkey and Europe (Central and East). Suppliers cover both material and service providers. which will positively impact from supplier selection to receiving of the material.

This position is mainly located in Ankara

We work closely with internal // external stakeholders, such as Key suppliers and Metallic Supply Chain procurement team. Our team culture is all about good knowledge level on quality management concepts and ability to apply them to practise and ability to lead process and projects

What you’ll do

• Reporting directly to Director, CNS Procurement Europe, deploying supplier audit program and follow up outcomes
• Developing and updating supplier quality plans, including process flow, operation instruction, quality control methods during the key processes
• Developing the inspection plan of incoming material inspection flow and guarantee the suppliers implementing the correct inspection process
• Support the operative purchasing and procurement on analysing the non-conformities and claims relating the supplier management and achieving corrective actions internally and among suppliers
• Giving technical comments on product quality problems of suppliers
• Participate on agreed development and improvement projects and implement the agreed actions to achieve the better performance
• Participating in different groups and projects as supplier quality expert
• Other tasks assigned by manager
   

Who You Are

• Recognised degree in relevant engineering field. Degree in metallurgical engineering is preferred.
• More than 5 years experience from supplier quality management
• Experience on project management practises
• Experince in steel fabrication, castings, rubber and machining categories
• Assessor experience and experience in team management
• Having Quality certificates (UT,MT,PT,VT) is a plus
• Excellent commend of MS office and other IT tools.
• Good skills on English
• Good negotiation and training skills
• Product knowledge
• Systematic and analytic
• Strong and convincing interpersonal skills,

• Able to work as part of a team
