Introduction

 We are looking for a Quotation and Order Management Specialist to join our DMO Quote and Order Management-team.

As a Quotation and Order Management Specialist you will handle quick, proactive, and accurate communication with distributors and other stakeholders. You solve daily problems regarding wears and spare related questions such as item identification and finding alternative solutions, quotation and order process, order-related questions and expediting requests. Active communication with different stakeholders is a key part of this job (operative purchasing, logistics, product design, warehouse etc.).

This position is mainly located in Alwar

 You will join a team of Order Management-team who are passionate about that strive to Deliverables. We are currently building working on Order Management and Order Processing

What you’ll do

  1. Quotation Management
    • Prepare accurate and timely quotations for distributors and stakeholders.
    • Ensure pricing and product details are correct and aligned with company standards.
  2. Order Processing
    • Primary tool for the distributors is my.metso.com, Manage end-to-end order handling, including entry only for orders which cannot be processed via My. Metso validation, and follow-up.
    • Monitor order status together with the logistics and expedite requests when necessary.
    • Track and manage order backlog to ensure timely delivery and drive customer satisfaction.
  3. Customer & Stakeholder Communication
    • Act as the primary point of contact for distributors regarding wears and spares.
    • Provide quick, proactive, and clear responses to inquiries and issues.
    • Collaborate with internal teams (purchasing, logistics, product design, warehouse) to resolve quote & order-related challenges.
  4. Problem Solving
    • Identify items and suggest alternative solutions when required.
    • Address pricing, technical, and delivery-related issues promptly.
  5. Documentation & Compliance
    • Maintain accurate records of quotations, orders, and communications.
    • Ensure compliance with international trade principles and company policies.
  6. System & Process Management
    • Utilize SAP S4 Hana, Salesforce and other IT tools for order and quotation management.
    • Adapt quickly to new systems and processes to improve efficiency.
  7. Continuous Improvement
    • Identify process gaps and propose improvements for better customer experience.
    • Support team initiatives for operational excellence.

 Who you are

  • Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in engineering or international business (or equivalent experience).
  • Technical Orientation: Ability to read and interpret technical drawings; familiarity with wears and spares.
  • Trade Knowledge: Understanding of international trade principles and terminology.
  • IT Proficiency: Quick adaptability to IT tools; SAP experience is a strong advantage.
  • Communication Skills: Fluent in English with strong written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Organizational Skills: Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities under pressure.
  • Decision-Making: Independent and proactive working style with confidence in making decisions.
  • Customer Focus: Strong customer-oriented mindset and problem-solving approach.
