Introduction
We are seeking a strategic and people-focused KPI and Analytics Manager to join our Global Planning and Supply Chain Development team. In this role, you will lead the development of analytics and reporting capabilities that support operational excellence across the business. You will lead KPI and analytics development, manage priorities across stakeholders, and ensure the team delivers clear, actionable insights that drive business performance and continuous improvement.
In this position, you will report to Krystal Conway, Director, Operational Development.
This role can be based in Brazil, Chile, China, India or Peru.
Team you belong to
You will join a team of professionals who are passionate about taking the Consumables business area to the next level and delivering strong business outcomes. As part of the Global Planning and Supply Chain Development team, you will play a key role in shaping the team’s analytics direction, ways of working, and long-term capabilities.
We work closely with the entire Consumables business area and all market areas, partnering across functions to improve visibility, decision-making, and performance. Our team culture is built on collaboration, accountability, and creating value for Metso and our customers by succeeding together.
What you’ll do
- Manage and develop analytics resources, providing leadership, coaching, and direction to build a high-performing and collaborative team.
- Partner with business stakeholders across Consumables and market areas to understand reporting needs, align expectations, and translate requirements into effective analytics solutions.
- Oversee the design and continuous improvement of KPI frameworks, dashboards, and reporting tools that enable visibility into operational and business performance.
- Ensure the quality, consistency, and integrity of data used for reporting and analytics, working closely with relevant teams to address gaps and drive improvements.
- Drive cross-functional initiatives to improve reporting processes, analytics capabilities, and system functionality in collaboration with process, systems, and business teams.
- Communicate insights, trends, risks, and opportunities clearly to senior stakeholders, supporting data-driven decision-making and performance management.
- Establish effective ways of working, governance practices, and documentation standards that support sustainable and scalable analytics development.
Who you are
- Bring a higher degree in data, analytics, international business, mathematics, computer science, statistics, or a related field
- Demonstrate strong experience in analytics, reporting, and KPI development, with the ability to connect data capabilities to business performance and decision-making
- Apply proven leadership experience, including leading teams, coordinating cross-functional work, and driving results through others
- Utilize analytics and BI tools such as Power BI, DAX, SQL, SQL Server, and Microsoft Power Platform
- Translate complex information into clear business insights through strong data visualization and reporting governance expertise
- Manage stakeholders effectively and communicate confidently across functions and organizational levels
- Bring a strategic, proactive, and collaborative mindset with a passion for continuous improvement and capability building
- Communicate fluently in English and influence effectively in a global environment
