We are seeking an Engineer to join our Manufacturing Engineering team. You will be responsible for New Product development, Manufacturing BOM creation, Engineering change implementation, and assembly issue solution, which involves in-house as well as supplier end component and assembly development. Your role plays a crucial part in Loko track manufacturing, which will contribute to a positive impact on quality product manufacturing. In this position, you will report to the Manufacturing Engineering Manager.
This position is mainly located in Alwar.
What you’ll do
- Evaluate current process, determine their effectiveness, identify opportunities, and recommend improvements
- Lead process improvement projects to meet business objectives and deliver quantifiable results using lean and six sigma methodologies
- Actively lead Kaizen events and other lean activities as part of project deliverables or supporting other initiatives
- Assist in leading lean implementation and layout optimization for new product development projects in the plant
- BOM & Routing Creation
- Handling Engineering Change Notification and its implementation in plant
- Operational Excellence deployment plan in plant
Who you are
- Diploma/BE (Mechanical) and 3-5 yrs of relevant experience
- Experience in ERP – SAP
- Experience in Engineering tools
- Work experience in process improvement
- Demonstrated ability to influence change directly and indirectly within the organization.
- A high level of computer skills is essential – Ms Excel, Word, PPT ,Power BI.
- Good in drawings studies and CAD
- Team player with good interpersonal and communication skills
- Organized and systematic working methods
