Introduction
We are seeking a Mechanical Design Engineer to join our Aggregate Technology team. You will be responsible for Product development and part of Product maintenance, which involves Modeling and drafting of mechanical parts in NX-TC. Your role plays a crucial part in product development. In this position, you will report to Deputy Manager of Engineering.
This position is mainly located in Alwar.
What you’ll do
Keep Metso HSE targets on top priority in line with Organizational legislation. Work under the guidance of the Lead Engineer together with the Project Manager when selected as a resource for any product development project. Work under the guidance of the Engineering Manager / Lead Engineer to provide and implement engineering solutions for product updates and new developments.Always be ready for cross-functional responsibility.
Who you are
- Engineering degree/diploma in Mechanical Engineering from any reputed University.
- Full professional efficiency in the English language for technical communication.
- 4-6 years of working experience in a similar Global Engineering Environment for Design and Engineering of a similar product range.
- Expertise in Modelling/drafting using 3D-CAD tool preferably NX.
- Working Experience in a PLM environment.
- Good knowledge of Production processes like fabrication and Assembly.
- Strong knowledge base on available raw material globally more specifically grades of steel and CI.
- Capability to do basic Engineering calculations and analysis.
- Good understanding and Interpretation of FEA reports and take necessary actions.
- Ability to design components, and parts and complete new products with consideration of applicability, manufacturability, cost and complexity.
- Ability to analyses and conclude complex technical site issues to define root causes, and provide both short-term and long-term solutions.
- Able to innovate and improve existing technology.
