Introduction

 

We are seeking a Quality Assistant Manager to join our CNS Global Quality Development team. You will be responsible for quality assurance activities within CNS Rubber and Polymet, which involve developing and implementing internal processes and systems to our Quality Assurance (QA) and Quality Control (QC) functions, driving the process harmonization and deployment across CNS supply chain. Your role plays a crucial part in CNS Quality Team, positively impacting our product and service quality.

 

In this position, you will report to Head of Quality Assurance on CNS Rubber and Polymet.

 

This position is mainly located in Alwar, Rajsthan. India and it involves up to 10% of international travel. 

 

Team you belong to

 

You will be part of CNS Quality Development team which plays a critical role in developing and implement the quality assurance process across the business. 

 

We work closely with Mill Lining and Screening Business Lines and Rubber and Polymet Supply Chain to develop and implement internal quality standards and processes, and to drive continuous improvement initiatives across the business, ensuring our processes are robust and aligned with corporate quality objectives. Our team culture is grounded in innovation, collaboration and continuous improvement. The members in our team are located in Sorocaba and Alwar.

 

What you’ll do

 

  • Develop and implement quality standards, procedures, and related quality assurance documentation.
  • Develop and implement harmonized quality plans for both new and existing products across plants
  • Lead and/or contribute to pertinent problem-solving meetings related to internal and external issues.
  • Develop and implement new process, automation, digitalization, data collection, system and tools
  • Conduct improvement projects and support initiatives related to quality, cost reduction, productivity and process capability.
  • Collaborate with management to establish performance expectations for critical manufacturing processes and monitor their performance.
  • Support and training the local team members and global colleagues on quality specifications, global procedures and Quality Tools.
  • Perform global quality audits and manage the root cause analysis of the respective outcomes and provides support of Quality or other functions as needed.

 

Who you are

 

  • 7 to 10 Years of work experience on Rubber / Chemical industry with knowledge on quality assurance and their materials and manufacturing standards and processes.
  • Diploma / B.Tech in Materials or Mechanical Engineering degree is desirable.
  • Knowledge and experience of Quality Tools such as 8D, MSA, SPC, SIPOC, APQP, PPAP, FMEA.
  • Knowledge of IATF16949 or automotive Standards is desirable.
  • Certified ISO 9001 auditor and Six Sigma qualification are appreciated.
  • Availability for international trips is around 10% of working time.
  • English Fluency is mandatory.
