We are looking for a Chief Engineer, Mechanical to strengthen our Delivery Engineering team and ensure successful customer projects.

Key Responsibilities

As Chief Engineer, Mechanical – Flotation, you will:

• Plan and lead detailed design work in equipment delivery projects
• Participate in designing customer-specific solutions
• Be responsible for achieving agreed engineering quality, cost, and schedule
• Provide technical support to external design offices and internal groups, including Sales, Supply, Service, and Product Management
• Facilitate successful design, delivery, and installation of equipment
• Represent engineering in customer interfaces

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

• Strong experience and enthusiasm for mechanical engineering
• Excellent prioritization skills with a strong customer focus
• A proactive attitude and willingness to learn continuously
• Ability to manage engineering work across multiple projects
• Strong team leadership skills
• Ability to apply Machine Safety and other Design Standards in daily work
• Strong experience using 3D engineering and PDM tools (preferably SolidWorks and ENOVIA)
• Experience in Design for Manufacturability
• Ability to make independent decisions while working as part of a team
• Ability to work in a structured manner under pressure
• Good spoken and written English communication skills and ability to work across cultures
• Willingness to travel occasionally to customer sites or fabricator workshops
