JOB TITLE: LCS PROJECT ADMINISTRATOR, SOUTH AFRICA
We are seeking a LCS Project Administrator, South Africa to join our LCS Team.
The successful candidate will be responsible for performing all administrative functions to ensure customer satisfaction.
Primary activities include evaluation of customer inquiries and compatibility with Metso parts and services, coordination of an appropriate quotation considering price/margin/delivery, proposal follow up, support of outside sales efforts, sales order entry, order coordination, and order backlog management of orders until completion.
In this position, you will report to the LCS Contracts Manager - Africa.
This position is mainly located in Centurion, Gauteng.
TEAM YOU BELONG TO
You will join the LCS Team and work closely with internal and external stakeholders, such as Management, Suppliers, Sub-Contractors, Clients, Supply Chain and the Sales Team.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
- Meetings Administration
- Create Progress Reports Assisting Project Managers with Budgeting
- Providing Support to Project Managers
- Collecting and Analysing project data
- Administrative duties and updating Project Plans
- Conduct research for team members
- Task Tracking and documentation
- Monitoring Project Progress and Budget Tracking
- Ordering necessary office supplies
- Processing invoices and purchase requisitions
- Communicate and administer new projects
- Create timetables for the projects and format documents as required
- Manage Account Receivables
PERFORMANCE & OPERATIONAL METRICS
- Develop and maintain a detailed project schedule of administrative tasks and all sites involved in the project
- Meet with the project teams and vendors to ensure efficient administration Manage vendor relationships, relaying information between the project management and client
- prepare proper supporting documents for bills and invoices as well as budgetary and progress reports
- Coordinate queries and escalates points
- Respond effectively and efficiently to internal external vendors' enquiries including queries relating to purchase orders and/or returns and escalate queries where required
- Create purchase requisitions and send purchase orders to vendors and input purchase orders and related information into the organization's project and SharePoint system
- Follow up all enquiries, review proposals where necessary and facilitate product demonstrations with project team
- Liaise with sales representatives, vendors and operations to determine vendor order status and track and maintain delivery timescales to ensure timely delivery of order to customers
- Administer commercial documentation such as contracts and service agreements
WHO YOU ARE
- Matric (Grade 12)
- SAP Experience
- High school diploma or equivalent work experience
- 2-5 years’ experience in a customer service or similar role

- Project Administration/Financial skills in global and multi-cultural environment
- Strong analytical skills and ability to travel frequently Highly motivated individual with the ability to work under stress and meet the deadlines
- Must be capable of effectively and accurately working on several projects at one time, and (organizing, prioritizing tasks and working in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication, co-operation, interpersonal and presentation skills
- Strong communication skills, drive and performance orientation
